Stella Child has no magic wand. No spells. No physical or Supernatural powers. A dreamy thirteen year old girl armed only with her own will and imagination--could this possibly be enough to take on the dark and terrible beast that rules her world?
Ten thousand years ago...
The Great Prophesy was written...
in footprints...
As snow and ashes accumulated on the fresh lava flows of Ben Bel Tienne, the Prophet Walker used Bal-Onu-Fes; an esoteric alphabet Master Walkers embedded into their footprints by way of intentional subtle pressures they released as they walked.
This amazing prophesy is preserved to this day—fossilized, written in stone. It foretells all the
future histories of the world—from the moment it was written, ten thousand years ago, up until a time
just beyond the present.
Now, at the end of the Great Cycle, and the beginning of The Climactic Transformation, the
fabled and terrible beast emerges from the shadows of the ancient world--and throwing off its cloak of
invisibility, appears before all.
That is, all who are willing and able to see--which is amazingly, and frighteningly, few. The
masses of Earth's surface dwellers are spellbound, under the belief that no such beast could possibly
exist—even as its long body snakes its way amongst them, even as they are herded here and there by its
many tentacles, even as its cunning, hypnotic voices tell them what to think, what to do, how to feel....
The masses, after being turned, gradually, over great lengths of time, into slaves of It, have very
few left amongst them willing or able to see the beast all about them. For in so doing, they now would
have to see, also, the beast within them.
Long had It remained unseen--powerful, but barely ruling—rather, influencing from behind the
scenes--seducing royalty and the wealthy elite by their own greed and lust for greater power. But even
the royalty and elite had been deceived. Now they too are becoming automated, subhuman slaves.
None are immune from the the beast's constricting ring.
For the few still free enough to think, now comes the momentous decision; fight to the death for
freedom—be lulled into mental oblivion and slavery--or go underground and live on the run, waiting
out the long hope of a New Dawn. A fight to the death would be certain death; the lulling into mental
oblivion is no choice for the free thinking; and yet, the going underground and living on the run is an
abandonment of their fellow human beings. There are no easy choices.
Yet even now—as those few of free mind contemplate their final choice...as the known world
comes to an end--growing numbers of rebel souls reincarnate, Clann Taluv emerges from the
Underworld....
And the Prophet Walker returns....
